Thanksgiving will start off wet and then slowly dry out by the afternoon

The calendar might say Thanksgiving, but it will definitely feel more like spring today as the 60s and 70s move in. Happy Thanksgiving, North Carolina! Our cold front is finally moving through, but this one will not bring cooler weather winds will be out of the SW for most of the day; the actual front will not move through until this evening. We will start off the morning cloudy with scattered showers likely; not everyone will see them but be aware of showers if you have plans this morning. By late morning into the early afternoon, the showers will clear from west to east, then we should dry out any become partly cloudy with some peeks of the sun across the state. This afternoon and evening, the only area with the risk of a few isolated showers will be mainly from Raleigh, but most should stay dry. So if you have outdoor plans for thanksgiving, plan them, but have another plan if a shower passes through your town.

Highs will be warm in the 60s and 70s today. Have stay safe and well; happy Thanksgiving.
