Frost Potential Early This Week, Then Turning Summer-like

It’s a new week and new weather headlines across the state! Our cold front passed through last night, and we will see cooler temperatures for the start of our work week!

Monday - Wednesday: We will see partly to mostly sunny skies, with highs in the 50s and 60s for most areas, and some areas in the low 70s at times. Tuesday and Wednesday night, a light frost/freeze is possible in the mountains and foothills, as well as in some other rural areas across the state. No rain expected!

🔥 Fire danger will ramp back up this week. Despite the rain yesterday, we remain well below average, and things will dry back out pretty quickly after today and tomorrow.

Thursday into the weekend: It’ll turn warmer with highs in the 70s and 80s with partly to mostly sunny skies through Sunday. As of now, it looks like there will be pretty much no rain, but we will watch to see if any pop-up storms try to develop later in the week.

Have a great week!
