Tuesday Dec 6th, 2022 Forecast

It is a classic Cold air damming (CAD) day across the state; rain chances remain. Happy Tuesday, North Carolina! I expect mostly cloudy skies, with most areas seeing cloudy skies, especially Raleigh west; some more sunshine is possible, mainly along the coast. Scattered showers are possible, and the best chance of rain will be mainly west of Raleigh, with more widespread showers possible from Charlotte and Greensboro west, more isolated to the east. I don't expect a washout anywhere, and some areas might even see rain; it will be very hit or miss. Temps will range from the upper 40s and 50s west to 60s and low 70s along the coast 50s in between. Warmer air should move in on Wednesday.
