Another sunny and cool day ahead, but a great day to get outside. Happy Sunday, North Carolina! High pressure will remain in control of our weather before our next system moves in late tonight. Mostly sunny skies likely today with some clouds moving in west to east late this afternoon into the evening, highs will be in the 40s and 50s across the state. Today will be a great day to go outside; just dress warm; thankfully, the wind will decrease today, so it should feel warmer. Our next system will bring rain tonight through early morning Monday for some parts of the state; I'll have more on that today.
