A pretty nice day once we get through a few bumps. Happy Saturday, North Carolina! A small disturbance will move through the state this morning; I can't rule out a few showers or some drizzle across the state, but mainly across the Foothills and parts of Central and Eastern NC; most of the threat should end by mid-morning. Then it will become partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 50s and 60s across the state; it will be a great day to be outside. This evening it will cool off rather quickly as we will have lows in the 30s and 40s statewide, so you will want a jacket.
