Turning colder today and breezy after the cold front passed through overnight. Happy Saturday, North Carolina! While Friday was not a nice day, today should be much nicer, just cooler. Skies will start off partly cloudy and then will quickly become mostly sunny across the state; highs will be much cooler in the 50s and 40s across most of the state, with 30s in the northern mountains. A gusty northwest wind will make it feel colder than it actually is, so dress warmly if you have plans outside, but it will be dry and sunny.
