Transition Day ahead, breezy conditions snow in the highest elevations of the mountains. Happy Monday, North Carolina! Today is the last day of November, and it will go out with a slam dunk, partly to mostly cloudy this morning with some showers possible across the state an isolated strong/severe east through mid-morning. Then it will become Partly sunny with a few isolated showers; it is a weird day because highs will occur around 11AM, and then temps could hold steady or fall through the afternoon. Highs in the 50s-70s east and 40s in the mountains, windy conditions likely in the 25-35MPH range slightly higher gusts possible. Snow will become possible late this afternoon through the overnight on and off across the highest elevations of the mountains; visit the previous post form yesterday for information on that. Turning much colder tonight into tomorrow, I'll have more on that later today.
