I sound like a broken record at this point. A hotter and humid day, not as active in terms of thunderstorms but still some possible. Happy Wednesday, North Carolina! I expect partly to mostly sunny skies; a few isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible only again today. Highs will be hotter in the low and mid-90s, with heat index values up to 105° in spots. Stay cool, and watch out for hit-it-miss storms. As usual, some folks will see rain others will see nothing.
