We will start the day off partly sunny with increasing clouds becoming mostly cloudy for most by the afternoon. A weak system will move into the state with rain chances going up; the best chance of rain will be to the south of Greensboro and Raleigh by afternoon and evening; there will be a chance across other parts of the state but only 20%, so if you're north will likely stay dry. I don't expect a washout, but some light rain will certainly be possible to the south during the late afternoon and evening, lasting on and off overnight tonight. We don't need any rain period, but this should not cause any flooding. Highs in the 40s and 50s today.
