Here we go; this short work week is almost over. It will be another hot one. Happy Friday, North Carolina! I expect partly to mostly sunny skies; highs will be hot again but a little cooler in the upper 80s and low/mid-90s across the state. Once again, a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible on a hit-or-miss setup; not everyone will see them. A couple could be severe with damaging winds.
