A hot and humid day ahead as the brief break of the heat ends, and back to more typical NC July weather. Happy Tuesday, North Carolina! I expect partly sunny skies today; most of the state will be dry, except southeastern NC along the coast has the potential of a few storms today. Highs statewide will be in the upper 80s and low/mid-90s.
