Rain returns for the end of the workweek; I hope your mud wasn’t too dry, haha. Happy Friday, North Carolina! Mostly cloudy skies this morning with scattered showers. The rain will move west to east during the day; it should clear out from Raleigh west by late morning with rain possible through the afternoon for Eastern and Coastal NC, most if not all of the state should be dry by the late afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the low-mid 50s for most, with 30s and 40s in the mountains.
