Yucky Day ahead again, I'm just the messenger. Happy Monday and the First Day of February, North Carolina! Cloudy skies will lead to a few scattered rain or even snow showers. The best chance will be across Central NC to the Foothills, only isolated and very hit or miss but don't be surprised if you see a passing snow shower or rain shower. Isolated showers across eastern NC, the best chance for any rain will be in the morning to early afternoon. Snow likely in the mountains, but outside of the mountains, if you get under an isolated snower of 30%, little to no accumulation is expected. The majority of the state will be cloudy with some passing drizzle; highs will be chilly in the 30s and 40s. Sunshine returns tomorrow.
