Rain will overspread the entire state through the afternoon and evening, so get the rain gear ready some rain could be heavy at times. Highs will be in the 50s for most, with lower 60s across southeastern NC; temperatures will drop mid-afternoon as the rain begins, so it will be cooler when you come home from work.
