Well, it is hard to believe, but the time has finally come. 2025 is about to end and we're going to ring in a new year. Here's a look at our weather headlines for the remainder of the week and into the first weekend and week of 2026.
-New Year's Eve and New Year's Day will be quiet and seasonably nice, with partly to mostly sunny skies, highs in the 40s and 50s for most of the state, and lows in the 20s and 30s, generally about 5-10° warmer than today. No rain expected.
-Friday and the weekend, Friday will be quiet some clouds will be around, but highs will generally be in the 50s for most areas. Saturday, we're still watching a low-pressure system that could bring some rain, especially south on Saturday, but we will circle back to that because it is trending drier. Sunday, it will turn quiet after a low shower chance south.
First week of 2026, as of now it looks quiet and trending warmer we will see how warm we go. Some models have 60s and 70s back, while others keep us seasonal. There is no threats of any winter storms right now, so be careful what you see floating around on the internet etc 😊.
Happy New Year!
