It's a new day across the state, our weather will stay somewhat active. Happy Tuesday, North Carolina! Numerous showers and thunderstorms are likely this morning, especially across Central and Eastern NC. We will then start to see more breaks and less activity through the lunchtime and early afternoon hours across the state. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected, and by this afternoon and evening, more scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop. An isolated strong to severe storm will still be possible, along with some additional Flash Flooding where hit or miss storms move through. Highs will be warmer today in the 70s for most areas, with some spots near 80°. I'll continue to pass along radar updates here and there today.
