A little more active today across the state! Happy Sunday (Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there), North Carolina! Mostly cloudy skies are expected today for the most part. Scattered showers are out there this morning and will be around on and off throughout the day, with more to the south and lower coverage to the north. So if you have outdoor plans, be sure to bring the rain gear in case there is some rain. It will not be a complete washout anywhere; areas to the west will honestly stay drier today. Highs will be cooler in the 60s and 70s for most areas. We will see even more rain coverage tonight and into Monday statewide.
