Humidity and storm chances will gradually return starting today for the rest of the week. Happy Sunday, North Carolina! Looking over the morning radar, there are a few showers across the mountains and foothills; these will gradually weaken as the morning moves on. A few isolated showers are possible across Central NC this morning; as such, across the state, we can expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. A south-to-southwest flow will gradually increase moisture levels across the state; as such, a few scattered storms are possible today. Highs today will be in the upper 70s with low/mid 80s just a degree or two warmer than yesterday, especially across Eastern NC. I don't expect any severe weather today, just a few isolated showers/storms. Coverage will only be about 20-30%.
