A summer day is ahead, as we head into the unofficial start of summer. Happy Saturday, North Carolina! Areas of fog are likely this morning, followed by partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the 80s for most areas, and 70s in the mountains and along the Outer Banks. Once again a few scattered storms will be likely in the afternoon and evening with gusty winds and heavy rain. Coverage should be a little less than yesterday.
