Forecast Friday, May 24th.

Writer: Ethan Clark Ethan Clark

It'll be another typical summer day across the state with a few storms. Happy Friday, North Carolina! Partly sunny skies are likely, with a few isolated showers/thunderstorms possible this morning, mainly east. We will see a break, and then more scattered storms will develop this afternoon, especially near and along the coast with the sea breeze; a couple of storms are possible inland. The severe weather threat is rather low today, but any storms that do develop could have gusty winds and heavy rain. Highs will be in the 80s for most areas; I'll pass along any radar updates later today, as usual.
