It's a new day, and our weather will change just a little bit across the state. Happy Wednesday, North Carolina! Partly sunny skies are expected, with increasing clouds from west to east throughout the day. Highs will be mild in the 70s and low 80s for most areas. Our weather will change a tad today, and some moisture will increase as a weak system works through this afternoon and evening. I expect a few scattered showers across Western NC this afternoon, and a couple of isolated showers will potentially work into parts of Central NC this evening and overnight. There will be no heavy rain, just a few isolated showers, and no severe weather is expected.
