It’s a new day, and the weather this morning is spectacular! Happy Wednesday, North Carolina! Looking at the morning data, we’re seeing a quieter morning with temperatures very pleasant for mid-August. The upper-level trough is moving eastward, and it’ll usher in some calm and relatively quiet weather today. I expect areas of fog this morning, followed by partly to mostly sunny skies, with highs in the 80s for the most part. I expect significantly drier weather today; only a couple of isolated showers will be possible this afternoon and evening. However most places will stay dry.
