A very tranquil day ahead across the state, make it a great day. Happy Thursday, North Carolina! It is another splendid morning across the state; temperatures are in the 60s for many as we start the day. I expect areas of fog this morning, followed by sunny skies. It’ll be a really nice day with a SW ridge controlling our weather; highs will be nice in the 80s for most areas. A stray shower can’t be ruled out, but 95% of us stay dry today. We need it, too; the sun is helping to dry out the soggy grounds.
