Forecast Friday July 11th!

It's a new day across the state, and it is looking quieter. Happy Friday, North Carolina! We're looking at a much quieter day. I can't rule out a morning shower, but otherwise, partly to mostly sunny skies are expected. Highs will be warm, ranging from the upper 80s to the low 90s, for most areas. Storm coverage will be significantly lower today, and many people will stay dry. That being said, although I can't rule out a couple of isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, they will not be of the magnitude seen over the last few days. Any storm that does form will still be a typical summer storms, quick hitting with some rain/gusty winds/ Flash Flooding if it hits for too long and too heavy. Coverage of the storm is looking like 20-30% of the state, so if you hear thunder, move indoors!
