I hope you got outside and enjoyed the sunshine today, if not you still have two more days of full sunshine. Looking ahead to the workweek, we will have Monday-Wednesday dry and sunny with highs in the 50s and 60s. Thursday a coastal low will approach brining rain to parts of eastern NC. Friday another CAD (Cold Air Damming) event will occur Friday, so expect another day of rain and clouds on Friday. It will be nice to see drier days, cloudy skies will move back in Wednesday with partly cloudy skies. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with passing showers. Bottom line is Monday and Tuesday will be full days of sun, with Thursday and Friday showers and cloudy. Winter Weather, as we approach March it is not uncommon to see snow during the beginning of March. The sun tilt counties to move higher into the sky each day we get closer to spring, it will be much harder to see snow.
Here's a look at the 5 day forecasts across the state.
