🌧️ Thursday: Let's talk about the forecast for Thursday. A low-pressure system will move in across the state. Models are pretty aggressive with the rain, showing some heavy at times, which is definitely possible, especially for Central and Western NC, but I am taking it more with a grain of salt. The potential is there for some areas to see an inch or more, especially Central and Western NC, with lower amounts further east. I can't rule out an isolated embedded thunderstorm within a heavier band, but severe weather is not expected.

The Bottom Line: Prepare for on and off rainfall tomorrow, pockets could be heavy at times, especially in Central and Western NC, cooler and cloudy for most areas.
